Step-by-step, was created during an abstract painting course. The prompt was to write out the instructions for how to create the painting before actually doing it. My approach included instructions like "walk 10 feet and trace whatever item you come across" or "throw a piece of string and outline it." The result is a spontaneous and playful composition.
